Risserfest 1982

The first poster created for the first-ever Risserfest. The posters were created to list the games of the day and to exhibit the winners of either the red or the blue teams. Phillip Tommey created the first poster with limited resources and time, resulting in it’s rustic charm. Supplies included white poster board and fat-tipped red, blue and black Magic Markers. (and occasional gold stars)

A flag was also created this first year for the “Pin the Stars on the Flag”. (see separate entry)

The success of the inaugural games insured that future games would continue into the next decade.
