Risserfest 1998

The 8th and final poster celebrates the day with a patriotic pin-up. Miss 4th of July salutes all who made the Risserfest a success over the years. No games are listed, so it is suspected that the events listings were created on a separate poster. (Phillip Tommey designed)

No one knows why the Fest was discontinued, but hopes remain that it will be resurrected one day. The river cottage is in some disrepair today, but there are also hopes that restoration funds can be found to bring it back to it’s humble original condition.
